Garden by the Sea is a wonderful succulent nursery in Leucadia.  They have imaginative container gardens.  Our talk includes picking companion plants to put in succulent pots.  Check out their website

You will need to bring a 2-3 inch wide candle but all other supplies will be provided.

  Note: the November meeting is a week earlier than usual, due to Thanksgiving

                                        11:00        Program: Tony Gurnoe, Interim Director of Horticulture at San Diego Botanic Garden

        An entertaining speaker, Tony will talk to us about basic botany and plant identification. He beganworking at the Garden in 2008, left after several years to start an organic truck garden in Fallbrook, then returned this year when the Horticulture Manager position opened up.
